Florida mosquitoes are not a nuisance you wait out, they are a season that runs most of the year. They breed in as little as a bottle cap of standing water, rest in shaded foliage through the heat of the day, and come out to make your patio unusable exactly when you want to be on it.
Our mosquito service works both ends of the problem: barrier treatments applied to the plants and shaded surfaces where adult mosquitoes rest, and a property walk that finds and drains the breeding water most homeowners never notice, from plant saucers to clogged gutters. Please note: mosquito control is a separate plan. It is not included in the $39 per month general pest control plan, and we will quote it clearly on its own.
Signs your yard needs mosquito control
- You cannot sit outside at dusk without being bitten
- Bites during the day in shaded parts of the yard
- Standing water in plant saucers, toys, gutters or low spots
- Dense landscaping that stays damp after rain
- A pond, fountain or birdbath without circulation
Frequently asked about mosquito control
Is mosquito control included in the general pest plan?
No. Mosquito control is a separate plan and is not included in the $39 per month general pest control plan. It uses different products, different application zones and a different visit cadence, so we quote it on its own.
How often does mosquito treatment need to be done?
Barrier treatments are typically refreshed every three to four weeks during Florida’s long mosquito season. Rain and new plant growth erode the barrier, so a recurring schedule is what keeps the yard consistently usable.
Are mosquito treatments safe for pets and pollinators?
We treat resting zones, not blooms, and time applications to minimize pollinator contact. Once dry, treated foliage is safe for kids and pets. We will walk you through the precautions before the first visit.
Can you treat just for a party or event?
Yes. One-time event treatments a day or two before an outdoor gathering are a popular option, and they need no ongoing plan.
